Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Eastern Wildlife Exchange

IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE REVIEW THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN ANY AUCTIONS, MAKING A PURCHASE, OR CREATING A LISTING ON THIS WEBSITE.

A Bid Deposit is not required to participate on this site. The specific terms for each listing are provided in the listing's description. If the listing does not contain specific terms, the default terms provided here apply.

You must agree to these terms during registration to complete the process. By using this website, you accept the terms and conditions set forth by Eastern Wildlife Exchange, which may be updated at any time without notice. You are contractually bound by these terms, including any changes, from the date of your acceptance. Non-compliance may lead to legal consequences, fines, and restrictions on your account. Ownership transfers from the seller to the buyer at the close of each successful auction. High bidders are contractually obligated to complete the purchase, assuming all risks associated with loss or damage from that point forward. Any reversal of payment will be pursued legally to the fullest extent.

Eastern Wildlife Exchange may also be referred to herein as "the Auctioneer."

BIDDER VERIFICATION:

The authenticity of all bidders will be verified. Bidding rights are provisional and may be withdrawn if verification fails. Providing false information can incur a penalty up to $5,000 and may lead to prosecution. All registration details must be accurate and up-to-date. Bidders must be at least 18 years old. Bidders agree not to disrupt or interfere with the auction process.

AUCTION BID DEFAULT:

If a high bidder fails to complete payment as outlined in the terms, they will incur an administrative charge of $250 per defaulted listing, plus an additional penalty of 25% of the purchase price. Legal and civil actions may follow, along with other remedies reserved by Eastern Wildlife Exchange and the seller.

VEHICLE TITLE TRANSFERS:

Applicable fees for vehicle title transfers are $200 for private individuals and $100 for licensed auto dealers. The high bidder will receive an electronic invoice for payment. Sales tax applies unless exempt documentation is provided in advance to auction@easternwildlifeexchange.com.

PAYMENT:

Payments for purchases must be made promptly after a successful auction. Acceptable forms of payment include bank wire, cash, direct deposit, certified bank check, Zelle, or digital check image. Credit card payments are subject to an additional 3% processing fee. Failure to complete payment by 5 PM on the auction closing date, without prior written arrangement, will result in a default fee and potential resale of the item.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the buyer upon payment, making the buyer fully responsible for the item. Subsequent charge disputes will be legally pursued. Any item sold requires full payment before possession is transferred to the buyer unless otherwise arranged.

REMOVAL AND STORAGE:

Items must be removed according to the terms specified for each listing. Failure to remove items may result in storage fees and additional charges.

LEGAL AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION:

Disputes will be handled by the Auctioneer, whose decisions are final. Any legal disputes or claims arising from the use of this site or associated transactions will be addressed under applicable law.

PRIVACY AND DATA SECURITY:

We prioritize the privacy and security of our users' information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we manage and protect your data.
